Musical Taster

This week saw the release of Wild Beasts’ new album after almost three years of anticipation. Guitars have been eschewed in favour of synths whilst the vocals remain as key a feature as ever. If you’re not familiar with Wild Beasts I’d hugely recommend checking them out. Here’s a little peek, though I have to admit I’m not too sold on the video yet:

Seeking Spring

In my opinion, March is always much longer and colder than anyone expects. It nearly always snows in March. Since I can’t quite rely on it being spring just yet I’ve at least made my room feel a bit more like spring with these lovely daffodils. They’ve cheered me up every time I catch a glance.

Winter Holidays

I’ve just returned from a little trip to Iceland and still haven’t quite got over what an incredible place it is. Once I’ve had chance to sort through my hundreds of photos I’m planning a sort of blog “takeover” where I’ll share the highlights… and most importantly, the food.

(That’s me very wrapped up next to Gullfoss… yes it warranted two pairs of gloves!)
